2006-2013 - FORUM HEALTH RISK MANAGEMENT - AREZZO

Implementation of the concept, exhibition spaces and the layout of the Forum Health Risk Management in Arezzo. This annual national event takes place in Arezzo Fiere e Congressi, and is organized by the Institute of Health and Safety in Healthcare Gutenberg - sponsored by the Foundation for Safety in Health Car.

The Forum for Health Risk Management of Arezzo was founded in 2006 and had an exhibition area of 6,000 sq m, which in 2009 was increased to 13,000 sqm, given the growing number of participants.

Started in 2006 as an innovative exhibition and conference opportunity pertaining to health care, it stands for the issues addressed and the integration between the various stakeholders that take part in the conference sessions. The Arezzo Fiere e Congressi hosts an exhibition space and another area dedicated to conferences and workshops. Each year an important theme is chosen, which gives the distinctive feature to the event itself, and stimulates the creation of a new image from the organizational, architectural and setting point of view.

2004 – VARENNE ON TOUR – MILANO, TREVISO, AVERSA, MONTECATINI, ROMA E VERONA

Design and realization of exhibitions, commissioned by SNAI, for the celebratory tour of the horse Varenne at the racetrack in Milan, Treviso, Aversa, Montecatini and Rome.

After two years of “retirement from racing”, the Stallion Varenne, winner of every horse race of the time, returned to the affection of his fans. To ensure that his presence was rightly valued the Italian legend of horseracing was presented in an appropriate framework; that of a real King. The parade of horses, caparisoned in gold, took place on a red carpet in front of his audience and accompanied by his song (performed by Enzo Iannacci), the images of his career were broadcasted on a maxi screen while all his achievements were narrated by a speaker. The racecourses were “decked” for the occasion with the colours and images of Varenne. The event was complemented by a particular set-up of photographs for the exhibition presented by Stefano Grasso. - The event began 12th September 2004 and foresaw Varenne paraded through the major Italian racetracks. The preparation and organization of the event were customized for each racecourse.

SPACE SCIENCE DREAM Design and development of the 1997-99 project, in collaboration with NASA and the Smithsonian Institution.

Design of a didactic educational event in collaboration with NASA and the Smithsonian Institution, (Washington D.C.). The dream of space travel, which for centuries has represented a dream-like dimension clouded in mystery, becomes a modern day adventure. The aim of the exhibition was to live and learn about man’s quest to discover space, and to bring the public closer to the knowledge of this adventure in an artistic, scientific and educational context, presented in a simple instructive language.

The conquest of space, in addition to deploying large scientific and technological resources, has inspired many artists to revise and interpret this adventure creatively. Works of art have the ability to freeze historic moments eternally.

The setting of the exhibition focused on the house on a human scale. As the exhibition unfolded, winding its way through the individual rooms of an ideal home (kitchen, living room, bathroom, bedroom, children’s room), it became representative of the Universe and our most intimate retreat in our daily life. The visitor took a journey that led him to understand and recognize the benefits of art, science and technology generated by the relationship, which has linked man to space since the beginning of our existence.

1996 - PIAGGIO "Disegnando VESPA" - ROME

Design and realization of exhibitions, celebrating the 50th anniversary of the birth of the Vespa, commissioned by the Piaggio Company, held at the Roof Garden of the Exhibition centre / Palazzo delle Esposizioni in Rome, July-August 1996.

The first models of the Vespa, designed by Corradino D'Ascanio, emerge from the holes of a lunar crater at the center of the exhibition space. On the walls surrounding the central theme there are 14 x 2.00 mt. diameter panels with publicity posters celebrating the 50th anniversary of an Italian myth. This is an authentic round up and parade in the history of post war Italian society.

The exhibition is complemented by a fine selection of photographs. An innovative insight on the Vespa, which excludes the presence of famous movie stars and well known photos, offering the visitor a different kind of portrayal: photographs which go from the Vespa at the 1960 Rome Olympics, to a policeman crossing the traffic in Singapore. Finally, two blow-ups: one of the internal area of the famous factory in Pontedera, and an unforgettable photo of Tina Pica in the exceptional testimonial campaign “vespizzatevi / vespa yourself”.

1994 – A CAVALLO DI USA ’94 – ROME

Creation of an event for the Tor di Valle Hippodrome in Rome, designed to create a synergy between two great sporting events: the World Football Championships USA '94 and the Summer Trot Season. Setting up a Hospitality Village of high structural quality through the prestige founders and sponsors of the event including SNAI, RAI, MARTINI and UN.I.R.E. The village stood very close to the Hippodrome track in an area of approximately 3,000 sq m connected by a pre- existing passage between the track and the grandstands. Approximately 350 seats were positioned for the live television broadcast of the football matches USA '94 on maxi-screens.

10 modular stands were positioned on both sides of the audience structure, with a covered area of 32 sq m and a veranda of 24 sq m. In the village there was a Service Center with a Restaurant, Bar, Martini Lounge Meeting Point, an area for children and one for concerts.
